Nostalgia is a powerful emotion. You know this if you've ever caught up with an old friend that you haven't seen in a while. Maybe you were nervous to meet them because you weren't sure if you had anything in common anymore, and you didn't know if you were gonna have enough to talk about. But you got ready, you met them for lunch, and it all came rushing back. The minute you saw your friend from fourth grade, all of those feelings and memories from that time came flooding back to you.

Being around them makes you remember how you felt back then. It's like you never left. If you're lucky enough to have a friend like that, you know that nostalgia is everything. It's important to have people around you who can remind you of who you were way back then.
